This is what Vice Ganda said about Pasig City.
“Call Me Mother” star Vice Ganda commends the transparency and good governance of Mayor Vico Sotto in Pasig City.
At a time when widespread corruption is being investigated, and accountability and justice for the people are being demanded, there’s Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig City, who broke the cycle of patronage politics.

It has always been his vision to lead by example in participatory good governance, where communities enjoy a high quality of life, a competitive economy, a balanced environment, and a government that is responsive, transparent, and accountable.
This is what the people want. This is what the people deserve.
In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, Mayor Sotto’s name was mentioned, and it immediately rang a bell, sounding like a true public service and good governance. Host Vice Ganda went on, praising the leadership of Sotto in Pasig.
She said that earned cheers from the audience, “Ang Pasig na ang pinakamagandang example ng good governance sa local government. Kung pwede lang tayong lumipat lahat sa Pasig.”
Vice also commended other cities being governed by good leaders like Quezon City.

Meanwhile, Vice is the lead star of “Call Me Mother.” This movie is an official entry of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 that earned box office and critical success. This is the same film that gave Vice her first Best Actor award.
The film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and features Nadine Lustre, Lucas Andalio, Esnyr, John Lapus, Klarisse de Guzman, Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo, River Joseph, and Shuvee Etrata.
This marks the second collaboration between superstar Vice Ganda and multi-awarded director Jun Lana, following their work together on last year’s film festival entry, “And the Breadwinner Is…”.
