Kapuso star Carla Abellana confirms that she is getting married soon through a post indicating that this is her last Christmas as a “Miss.”
The December wedding rumors are true about actress Carla Abellana and her non-showbiz partner. Months after confirming that she is dating, rumors about her engagement and wedding emerged online.
This month, Carla confirmed that she engaged; however, she is still not introducing her partner. To recall, based on a previous article, Carla addressed the wedding rumors, saying, “Kung totoo man po iyon o hindi, of course that’s part of my private life.”
Recently, finally addressing the wedding narratives straight, she shared a post about her bridal shower. In her story, she posted a photo that said, “Last Christmas as a Miss.”
She did not divulge details about her upcoming wedding, but according to reports, they will have a Tagaytay wedding on December 27, 2025. Moreover, as per reports as well, her private partner is Dr. Reginald Santos.
Reginald Kristian Carlos Santos, born in 1986, studied at OB Montessori in Greenhills and later pursued medicine at FEU–NRMF in Quezon City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2012 and passed the Physician Licensure Examination in August 2013, specializing in Primary Care.
Santos later took on leadership roles at Diliman Doctors Hospital in Quezon City. He was listed as head of the Emergency Department, became assistant administrative officer in 2022, and was appointed chief medical officer in November 2024—a position he reportedly still holds.
In a new Instagram post, she expressed her feelings about her bridal shower, saying, “Heavenly! Ahhh-mazing experience with Mom and my girls. Definitely one for the books.”
In 2021, Carla married actor Tom Rodriguez. But in 2022, the celebrity couple revealed their divorce. The reason behind this was not disclosed. This failure has broken her, but with this new man in her life, she took a chance again to find out where it is going, and it appears they are heading toward marriage.
