CARLA ABELLANA FIANCE – The Kapuso actress has confirmed that she is engaged, and people are speculating that she’s engaged to Dr. Reginald Santos.
During the “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, host Boy Abunda confirmed that Carla Abellana is now engaged after her photo wearing a ring went viral online. The program’s team reached out to the actress. She permitted the show to make the announcement.
Ever since Carla confirmed that she is dating again, she has kept most of the things about her new relationship in the dark, wrapped in mystery, and caught the curiosity of many.
However, there has been a name lingering around, and based on the rumors, her fiance is someone named Dr. Reginald Santos. They were high-school sweethearts. There was a photo of them that emerged online, and it was enough to send some into a frenzy, eager to know her special man.

His name is Reginald Kristian Carlos Santos, born in 1986. He attended the Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center, or the OB Montessori, in Greenhills. After high school, he went to Far Eastern University–Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) in Quezon City, where he pursued his medical studies.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2012. He specializes in Primary Care as a physician after passing the Physician Licensure Examination in August 2013. Based on SeriousMD, he was listed as the head of Diliman Doctors Hospital (DDH) Emergency Department in Quezon City.
In a post in October 2022, he was identified as the hospital’s assistant administrative officer, a mark of his transition into administrative leadership at Diliman Doctors Hospital. In November 2024, Santos joined the DDH Management Committee as the hospital’s chief medical officer, and reportedly, he is still holding this position.
