Ogie Diaz slammed this claim from a social media page
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, who is also known as a showbiz insider, denied that he mentioned the names of Kapuso couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in the blind item about a “power couple.”
To recall, these past few days, the online community has been talking about a blind item claiming that a celebrity couple has been going through marital issues because the husband is still having affairs, and the wife has been pretending that everything is okay.
Netizens shared their guesses. Aside from the DongYan couple, some netizens guessed that the blind item referred to Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano. For some, it was Nico Bolzico and Solenn Heussaff. Some netizens mentioned the names of Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado.
Amid this intriguing blind item, Ogie Diaz shared on his Instagram Story that he had been receiving messages from netizens, as well as from celebrities. It was because they were asking him to name the”power couple” in the blind item.
He ended his post with his usual line in his YouTube talk show, Showbiz Update, every time he shared a scoop. “At eto na nga…” the talent manager-vlogger wrote.
His post ended with that. However, Facebook Page Chika Balita PH claimed that Ogie mentioned Dingdong and Marian as the alleged “power couple” in the blind item. Because of this allegation against him, Ogie cursed on the social media page.
He shared a screenshot of the Facebook page with the caption, “Uy, p@tah ka! Wala akong mine-mention na names. Imbento ka!”
Previously, Marian Rivera had already denied that she and Dingdong Dantes were the subjects of the controversial blind item. She noticed that every year, this kind of rumor would surface, and some would insinuate that they were having major marital problems.
Marian was with Dingdong at a soccer practice of their son, Sixto, when she directly debunked the rumors.
