Kat de Castro says Noli De Castro is now okay.
Broadcast journalist and former Vice President of the Philippines, Noli de Castro, is now okay, as per his daughter, Kat de Castro.
Katherine “Kat” de Castro, daughter of veteran broadcaster and former Vice President Noli de Castro, previously asked for prayers for her dad. However, she did not provide any context for it, but based on her words, it appeared that the matter was serious.

It was reported previously that the former vice president had undergone surgery due to an undisclosed illness on Sunday. According to the latest update, her father is now doing fine after surgery.
This is not the first time that Kabayan has struggled because of his health condition. Previously, he suffered from complications due to his sciatica. During the pandemic, he took an extended leave from TV Patrol to quarantine after a makeup artist tested positive for COVID-19. This is also not his first time having an extended break from his programs on TV and radio.
He was last seen anchoring TV Patrol on November 7.
Meanwhile, Kabayan is a prominent figure in Philippine media and politics. His career path, spanning decades, has covered journalism and public service. He was the 14th Vice President of the Philippines.
He was also the host of the highly popular and influential television program Magandang Gabi, Bayan, which is known for its engaging format, combining investigative journalism, public service, and entertainment. This program has become popular since its premiere in 1988.
De Castro’s dedication to public service broadcasting was recently recognized on the international stage. His program, KBYN: Kaagapay ng Bayan, won a Bronze Award for Best Public Affairs Program at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.
