Another Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Expected on Tuesday (December 16, 2025)

FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Various gasoline stations in the country will impose another mixed price adjustments starting Tuesday (December 16, 2025).

Filipino motorists will feel mixed effects at the pump. Gasoline prices are set to rise for the third consecutive week, while diesel and kerosene will see a slight drop ahead of Christmas Day. These adjustments are expected to take effect on Tuesday, across the country.

Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil will increase gasoline prices by P0.20 per liter, while reducing diesel and kerosene by the same amount. Petro Gazz and Cleanfuel will follow the same adjustments for gasoline and diesel, though they do not carry kerosene.

Mixed Oil Price Adjustments

Most companies will implement the changes early in the morning, except Cleanfuel, which will adjust prices slightly later in the afternoon. Other firms have not yet announced their pricing for the week.

This week’s price movement continues a trend of rising gasoline costs. Over the past three weeks, gasoline has gone up by a total of P1.60 per liter. Diesel and kerosene, which did not change last week, now offer motorists a small relief at the pump, with a rollback of P0.20 per liter each.

Industry analysts attribute the decrease in diesel and kerosene prices to easing crude oil costs. Global factors include increased supply from refineries returning to normal operations after maintenance and market optimism over possible peace developments in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Forecasts also show a potential oversupply of oil in the coming months, which is helping stabilize certain fuel prices despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

With the new adjustments, the cumulative year-to-date increases for gasoline now reach P21.30 per liter. Diesel stands at P21.55 per liter, while kerosene is priced at P6.55 per liter.

While gasoline buyers will face slightly higher prices this week, those using diesel or kerosene will experience modest savings, offering some relief as the holiday season draws near.
