Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis and her husband, Erwan Heussaff, joined the Hyrox competition, and here’s what she shared about the experience.
Hyrox is a global, indoor fitness competition that combines 8 kilometers of running with 8 functional workout stations, repeated eight times. Currently, this is a fitness race taking the world by storm that is intense yet addictive. Surprisingly, this is also beginner-friendly.
Last November, Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis and her husband, Erwan Heussaff, joined together for their first Hyrox competition. This was held in Seoul, South Korea. In an interview, the real-life married couple shared that they have enjoyed the race and are looking forward to joining one again in the future.
“We did okay, we finished. It was really challenging but the energy here was absolutely amazing. It was a good first race and we’ll definitely do it again,” Erwan expressed.
Anne shared that she only had five days to train for the competition, and for the future races she hopes to join in the future, she keeps this as an inspiration and drive to compete again, but with more preparation.
“I think our group of friends really liked the challenge. It was a group thing that we decided to do Hyrox so all of us are competing today. Even if it’s kind of a competitive sport, what matters is we all had fun. You can definitely count on us joining again–– maybe with more training,” Anne shared.
The actress also expressed that she had fun doing it with her husband and friends. Actresses Solenn Heusaff and Isabelle Daza were also present at the Hyrox event.
She is hopeful that she will join the next one in Paris.
