“Ang naratibo na pilit nilang ikinakasa laban sa akin ay hindi lamang kasinungalingan, ito’y sadyang ‘di kapani-paniwala,” Revilla said in a Facebook post. He added that his name is “being used to twist the truth.”

He had lived his life facing every challenge thrown his way, and there was not a time he ran and hid. He stressed that if he did not back down then, he is not backing down now because the truth is on his side. He will face this issue with full courage and conviction.

He added that he has become an easy target, but he is hopeful that the truth will always prevail. As per the DOJ, Revilla and former Ako Bicol party-list representative Zaldy Co were identified as “proponents” in flood control projects in Bulacan.

According to the claims of former DPWH Bulacan engineer Henry Alcantara, PHP 300 million of projects were inserted in the 2024 national budget for Revilla.
