Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Says Pres. Bongbong Marcos Shouldn’t Be Afraid of Drug Test
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President claimed that she is allegedly ready to undergo a drug test if Pres. Bongbong Marcos decides to do so.
The President has long been surrounded by allegations of supposed illegal drug use but countless Filipinos were shocked when it was his sister, Senator Imee Marcos, who accused PBBM of allegedly using illegal drugs. She made the accusation at the rally organized by the members of the Iglesia ni Cristo which gathered thousands of people.
While she did not explicitly asked him to resign, Sen. Imee Marcos called on Marcos Jr. to go home and undergo treatment. According to her, their family allegedly knows about the supposed problem with the President ever since they were young.
The Senator stressed that then, he was still not her responsibility as their father, the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr., was still alive. She also accused First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos of allegedly using illegal drugs, too.
Following the claims of Sen. Imee Marcos, Davao Congressman Paolo Duterte reiterated his call for a mandatory drug testing among all government officials “with no exemptions”. He also called on Pres. Bongbong Marcos to prove to the Filipinos if he is really clean.
According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the president, the vice president, and all the government officials are allegedly mandated to undergo a drug test if there is a request. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, she stressed that the request is supposedly a question to the competency of the public official.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also emphasized that the call on Pres. Bongbong Marcos is a call for a drug test wherein the public is invested on. She claimed that she is allegedly ready to undertake a drug test together with the President if he will do so.
“Huwag siya mag-alala, huwag siya matakot. Sasamahan ko siya, sasamahan siya – I’m sure sasamahan siya ni Senator Imee. Magpapa-drug test din yun. Ako kahit kaunti na lang ang naiwan sa buhok ko, makakapag-drug test din ako,” the Vice President said.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte further claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos should not be afraid to undergo a drug test as it is for the country. Based on the report, she stressed that it is allegedly not for one’s self only.
