Aspin Reunites w/ Fur Family 2 Weeks After Being Lost During Typhoon Tino
An Aspin from Cebu City finally made it back home two weeks after being separated from its fur parent during the height of Typhoon Tino.
Recently, Emmanuel Llenos, a Facebook user and fur parent, shared a video of their pet dog a few days after it went missing during the typhoon. The post quickly went viral and received many reactions online
The dog, named Haven, went missing when strong winds and floods hit their community on November 4, 2025, leaving the family devastated and unsure if they would ever see her again.

Haven’s owner, Emmanuel Llenos, shared a video of their beloved pet a few days after she Emmanuel shared that they searched for Haven around their subdivision in Villa Del Rio for up to ten days, hoping for signs of their missing dog. Despite their efforts and the help of others, they went home each day without any trace of Haven.
According to Emmanuel, Haven was swept away by the strong floodwaters when the rain intensified, and their home became submerged. While their other dogs managed to survive inside the house, Haven was carried away by the rushing water.
Even after the family was forced to leave their damaged home for several days, they continued returning to look for her. Workers helping clean the house also joined the search in the following days.
With no news for more than a week, the family posted online in hope that someone might spot Haven.
Eventually, a netizen shared that the dog was seen in a nearby subdivision, about a few minutes away. It came as a surprise since Haven had never gone far from their own subdivision since she was a puppy.
Emmanuel was reunited with his pet dog when he returned home for a media interview. He saw Haven sitting in front of their house, as if he were waiting for him. At first, she ran away when he approached, but she eventually recognized him and happily returned to her family.
Despite being away for almost 13 days, Haven was healthy and safe, leaving her family grateful and relieved after a long and emotional search.
