Liza Marcos Reacts To Imee Marcos’ Accusation Against The First Family

FL Liza Marcos shared her answer to the recent statement from Sen. Imee Marcos

First Lady Liza Marcos received mixed reactions when she posted her response to the accusation made by Senator Imee Marcos against the First Family.

To recall, on November 17, the second day of the supposed 3-day anti-corruption rally of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), Sen. Imee made a shocking revelation against her brother, President Bongbong Marcos, and his children.

The lawmaker claimed that her younger brother is using illegal drugs, and allegedly, it worsened when he married FL Liza. Sen. Imee also alleged that even PBBM’s children started using illegal drugs.

In line with this accusation, Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos released a statement debunking the claim made by his aunt.

Cong. Sandro said that he respects Sen. Imee as his aunt and as someone who has contributed to his early years in public. However, the congressman strongly denied the accusation. He even said that this kind of action should not be done by someone who is “tunay na kapatid.”

The Senator did not back down. In her Facebook post as a response to her nephew, Sen. Imee said that the congressman was trying to revive the rumor that she is not a true Marcos. With this, the Senator said that there is a solution to this; she will have a DNA test, while the First Family will undergo a hair follicle drug test.

On November 19, the official Facebook page of FL Liza Marcos shared an art card which featured her photo and a quote saying, “I won’t argue with you anymore, because after all, you’re my husband’s sister and I respect mommy (Imelda). Pero yang mga statements mo fake, kasing fake ng mukha mong retokada.”

The post had this caption, “….and speaking of FAKE NEWS… ‘welcome to entertainment, Pinoy style.’” This was followed by laughing emojis.
