Imee Marcos responds to the statement released by Sandro Marcos
Senator Imee Marcos challenged her nephew, Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos, to undergo a hair follicle drug test.
Hair follicle drug testing can detect evidence of drug use or misuse in a sample of hair. Certain jobs really require applicants to undergo this kind of drug testing.
Critics of President Bongbong Marcos, who accused him of using illegal drugs, have been suggesting this. The most recent accuser of the Chief Executive of the Philippines is his own sister.
During the anti-corruption rally organized by Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)on November 17, 2025, Sen. Imee Marcos spoke before the people who joined the rally.
The Senator claimed that President Bongbong Marcos has been using illegal drugs, and that it worsened because of his wife, First Lady Liza Marcos. Sen. Imee also alleged that even the children of PBBM are using drugs.
“We won’t stay quiet because I found out that even his children do drugs now. I loathe that Sandro and his mother offered drugs to my children and our other relatives. I won’t let that pass,” the Senator said.
Cong. Sandro denied the allegation against his family. He slammed his aunt for her accusations against the First Family. The Congressman also said that it was painful to hear that his aunt was lying about them to promote destabilization.
He ended his statement with an intriguing sentence about his aunt. “Hindi ito asal ng isang tunay na kapatid,” he said.
There have been rumors that Sen. Imee is not really a Marcos. Allegations surfaced that she is the daughter of former First Lady Imelda Marcos with another man.
In her response to the statement of her nephew, the Senator posted a challenge. “Gustong paingayin ni Sandro ang usap-usapang hindi ako tunay na kapatid. Isa lamang ang solusyon: Magpapa-DNA TEST ako, magpaHAIR FOLLICLE TEST sila.”
