WINWYN MARQUEZ – Actress and beauty queen Winwyn Marquez has gone viral for her bold statement on Instagram, slamming alleged corruption and government inaction as the country reels from Typhoon Tino’s deadly impact.
Winwyn Marquez expressed her disappointment and anger toward government officials after the devastation caused by Typhoon Tino, which heavily affected several areas, particularly in the Visayas. In a series of posts on her Instagram story, the actress and beauty queen shared her dismay over how corruption continues to take a toll on the country, pointing out that poor leadership and questionable infrastructure projects have only worsened the effects of the disaster.
She raised concern over the lack of accountability, noting that despite almost two months of investigation into the alleged irregularities involving flood control projects, there has still been no progress or punishment for those responsible.
Winwyn Marquez lamented that the nation keeps bearing the consequences of these flawed projects, yet no one has been held liable.
“May bagyo nanaman pero no one is being held accountable padin,” said Winwyn.
She went on to ask, “Pag nag baha nanaman…what will they say this time?”
The celebrity mom called out authorities for their lack of concrete action, criticizing how they continue to pass the blame while failing to provide real help to victims.
“While everyone keeps pointing fingers over these so-called flood control projects, has anything actually been done to truly help?” Winwyn added.

Based on the latest data, over 114 people have died due to Typhoon Tino, and officials expect the death toll to increase as 125 individuals remain missing, most of them from Cebu.
