Anjo Yllana On Statement Against Tito Sotto: “Nangba-bluff lang ako”

Anjo Yllana reacted to the controversy he created against Sen. Tito Sotto

Actor Anjo Yllana said that he was just bluffing when he released a statement against Senate President Tito Sotto.

Anjo and Tito Sen had worked together for many years on the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. However, a conflict arose between them just recently.

It was because of the statement made by Anjo, who has been no longer part of EB Dabarkads for many years, attacking the celebrity-turned-politician.

Anjo Yllana accused Sen. Tito Sotto of having a mistress since 2013. He was even daring the Senate President to give the go signal, and he would reveal the identity of the alleged mistress.

Reacting to the accusation from Anjo, Tito Sen said that he will not pay attention to this, and so the Senate media should do the same.

Anjo also had a statement against President Bongbong Marcos, which the Malacanang Palace immediately answered. The actor demanded that the Chief Executive of the Philippines undergo drug testing. The Palace questioned Anjo’s credibility to demand that from the President.

After the controversial statements that Anjo had made during a livestream, he said that he was just bluffing, based on the article in The Philippine Star.

Active ako kasi nga hindi naman ako naninira. Nagbi-bigay lang ako ng opinyon saka advice. Para sa akin, ayusin naman ng gobyerno ‘yung pamamalakad ninyo. E, siyempre si Tito Sen [Sotto] kaalyado ng present government, so ‘yung trolls ng ‘Eat Bulaga,’ inaaway ako,” he said.

Anjo said that followers of the Senate President have been attacking him, and this slightly pissed him off. The actor also said that he did not expect that his statement would have this kind of effect.

Anjo Yllana said.

He also admitted that he had a heated argument with Tito Sotto’s younger brothers, Vic and Maru Sotto. However, he said that after a few minutes of discussion, they agreed on a ceasefire. They agreed, but Anjo said that they did not say sorry to each other.
