Sam Milby continues to fight against his disease
Kapamilya actor-host Sam Milby shared a recent update regarding the status of his health, and her said that it is not something good.
In June last year, Sam shared that he was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The actor received love and support from her colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry. His friends also prayed for his health.
Last June this year, the actor-singer shared that he started taking medical procedures to address his health condition. He had Stem Cell Therapy to reverse his diabetes.

Just recently, based on the article in Bandera, Sam Milby shared that he has Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA) or Type 1.5 Diabetes.
It is a type of diabetes that has both type 1 and type 2 features. It is also called type 1.5 diabetes or type 1 ½ diabetes.
“There was a fan who messaged, made a comment, ’maybe you’re not Type 2 (diabetes), maybe you’re Type 1.5.’ So, I did my research also,” the Kapamilya star shared.
With this, he asked his endo and had his check-up in Singapore, and he was told that a blood test would be done to make sure. Then, it was confirmed. Sam also shared that there would be a possibility that his condition would be Type 1.

He said that this diagnosis was not good. “It’s bad. Type 1 is the worst; Tito Gary (Valenciano) has Type 1. It means that your pancreas does not produce NY insulin at all. So, I may have to start ‘young insulin shots, eventually. Ganoon talaga,” Sams said.

“I’m trying to be more physically active. I’m trying to play pickleball, ‘yong nauuso ngayon, that’s my cardio. Sometimes, I run,” the Kapamilya star shared.
Sam Milby also shared that he has healthy eating habits and his strict when it comes to his diet.
