Woman Shares Disappointing Experience at a Popular Bulalohan
A woman has shared her honest review about a bulalohan restaurant has gone viral after she shared her disappointing experience with both the food and the service.
Recently, a Facebook user Marah Macatiag posted her detailed account of what was supposed to be a satisfying bulalo meal with her friends. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Macatiag explained that they decided to try the place after seeing it recommended by a blogger. However, what they expected to be a hearty and flavorful dish turned out differently.
According to her post, the bulalo’s meat had a texture similar to corned beef and tasted bland. She said it lacked the rich beef flavor she was hoping for and that the soup cooled too quickly.
Marah also mentioned that their rice was undercooked and still hard. Even though the staff replaced it, the new serving was still cold and not much better.
The slow service added to her frustration and shared that they waited almost an hour for their food, had to follow up multiple times, and even noticed that the staff seemed confused and disorganized.
The restaurant was full at the time, which might have contributed to the delay, but the long wait and repeated order checks made the dining experience unpleasant.
Despite her disappointment, she acknowledged that the serving size was generous, the price was reasonable, and they offered unlimited soup and rice. Still, she felt the taste and service did not live up to the hype.

“So eto na nga kwento.. honest review lang. Not my intention manira, ito ay based lang sa natikman at experience namin. Nag crave mga tita nyo sa bulalo, at bilang nareview to ng isang blogger, try din namin. Honestly, hindi sya masarap para sa kin. Please take note subjective po ang taste natin ha. Maaring sa iba masarap at sa akin ay hindi. Hindi po ako nagpapaka Euleen. Although pa corned beef na yun texture ng karne. Bland sya for me. Matabang, wala yung hinahanap kong lasa ng beef bulalo. Tas ang bilis pa lumamig. Yung kanin hilaw, mabigas pa sya. Hindi namin nakain. Pinalitan naman nila pero ganun pa din ang pinalit and again, malamig din ang kanin. Ang service? Hayyy almost 1 hour kami nag antay. Naka 4 na follow up kami bago naserve sa min. Naka ilang tanung din sila anong order namin. Aligaga ang mga staff. Gusto na namin magserve na din kami. Yeah puno lahat ng table. Kaya siguro ganun. Pero ilang mesa lang naman andun. Ung price, ok na. Katanggap tanggap naman. Madami din naman serve ng bulalo. Unli sabaw at unli rice. Pero un nga.. try na lang natin sa ibang bulalohan.”
