After many years of feud and conflict, Claudine Barretto initiated a move to fix her relationship with her sister, Marjorie Barretto.
Last year, Claudine Barretto declared that she was taking legal action over the threats she had allegedly been receiving amid her current feud with her siblings, Mito and Marjorie Barretto. However, just recently, just before the sudden passing of her brother Mito, the actress revealed that she was able to apologize to him and that they were able to fix their relationship.
She had a major argument with her late sibling earlier this year, which nearly led her to take legal action against him. He apologized to her, and even before it happened, she had already forgiven him with all the fiber of her being.
Recently, in an interview, she expressed that after fixing her relationship with her brother before he passed away, she intends to fix her relationship with her sister, Marjorie.
For many years now, they have not been on speaking terms, and in previous years, their conflict and exchange of heated words made headlines. The recent Barretto conflict started during the loss of their father, Miguel Alvir Barretto, who died on October 15, 2019, at the age of 82.
An Instagram battle between the sisters began after this. All the time, the conflict would almost reach court, but recently, something different happened.
In an interview with MJ Marforie, Claudine expressed her desire to fix her relationship with her sister and would even humble herself and be accountable just to make this happen.
She stated, with all sincerity, “Pinapaalam ko sa kanya na if I hurt her in any way for the things that I did or the things she thinks I did, sige na lang, okay na. I will be accountable. Mapatawad nya lang ako balang araw.”
