BARRETTO FAMILY FEUD – Here’s a timeline of the seemingly unending feud of the famous show business family Barretto against each other.

15 years have already passed and 15 long years that people have witnessed the feuds and reconciliations of the prominent showbiz family Barretto. Last Saturday, October 19, the patriarch of the clan was laid to rest after more than a couple of weeks being confined in the hospital. And his final wish is for the family reconciled again.

And in a previous article, Gretchen Barretto appeared in the wake of his father but led to a commotion and tension versus her sister Marjorie Barretto. But the take away was she was able to make amends with her mother.

The Barretto clan: Estrella “Inday” Barretto, her late husband, Miguel Barretto, and their children Mito, 59, Michelle, 58, Joaquin “JJ”, 57, Gia, 50, Gretchen, 49, Marjorie, 45, and Claudine, 40.

Here’s a timeline of their feud way back:

Gretchen vs Marjorie and Dennis Padilla (2004)
It allegedly started when Dennis confronted Gretchen because he was dropped from the MTB as host when Willie Revillame got hired in ABC-5, the network owned by Gretchen’s partner Tonyboy Cojuangco. In 2007, Dennis apologized and revealed that it was just a little misunderstanding which he did not elaborated any further.

Gretchen vs Claudine (2006)
Gretchen was not able to attend her sister’s wedding with Raymart Santiago in 2006.

Gretchen, Claudine, Marjorie reconciliation (2007)
Gretchen and Claudine ironed out their issues in 2007 when they met at S&R at The Fort and Greta and Marjorie also fixed their relationship that time when Marj’s marriage with Dennis ended.

Gretchen vs Claudine again (2009-2010)
They are bound to work for a single series but was canceled because Claudine transferred network. In 2010, Greta walked out of a competition when she got compared to her younger sister.

Gretchen and Claudine reconcile (2011)
They have reconciled again when they saw each other unexpectedly at their mother’s condo.

Barretto vs Barretto (2013-2014)
Inday Barretto let go of a child and that is Greta whom she called a liar for accusing Claudine as violent. JJ sided with Greta while Gia sided with their mother. Gretchen backed Raymart on his statements amid legal battle versus Claudine regarding claims of drug abuse and mental illness.

Claudine and Marjorie reconcile (2015)
Marj appreciated it when Clau attended the debut of Julia Barretto.

Claudine and Gretchen vs Marjorie (2019)
It was this year when Clau and Greta reconciled and the same year their father died that some relationship of the family member got really messed up. Their issues were highly publicized.
