Actor Gerald Anderson refuses to answer any questions about Julia Barretto, one month after their split was confirmed.
Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto have ended their relationship, and this was confirmed by their respective talent agencies. This has put the speculations to rest after weeks of lingering online.
Star Magic, which manages Anderson, and Viva Artists Agency, which represents Barretto, released separate statements, and both have noted that Julia and Gerald’s split was made out of mutual decision.
However, rumors about their reconciliation surfaced after Gerald visited the wake of Julia’s uncle, and they appeared to be on good terms. The actor was even seen interacting with fellow visitors at the wake of the latter’s uncle, Mito Barretto.
Many became curious again about their real score after Ogie Diaz cited claims that the pair arrived and left the wake together.
Recently, before the media, Anderson was asked about his ex-girlfriend, a month after their split was confirmed. He was asked if they had reconnected; however, he just smiled, as he refused to answer the question.
The actor appeared before the media to announce a collaboration for the MMFF 2025 official entry, Rekonek. He is among the cast, with the Legaspi Family, Charlie Dizon, Andrea Brillantes, Bela Padilla, Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, and Ms. Gloria Diaz, to be directed by Jade Castro.
This film is Gerald’s film production called Th3rd Floor Studios’ first film.
Anderson also stars in other projects, such as Buy Bust for Netflix and Sins of the Father, a primetime series for the Kapamilya Channel. He expressed, “You know, I really feel so excited for this partnership, kasi nakita ko yung attention to detail nila.”
He saw the dedication and perfection, and this is what he wants for a partner when it comes to producing films.
