Chie Filomeno Hints At Reason Behind End Of Relationship

In a cryptic post, Chie Filomeno hinted at something about her past relationship.

After asking for privacy, actress-dancer Chie Filomeno dropped some hints as to what happened to her previous relationship.

“I’m good at least, parang it’s a lot to take, di ba? Andaming nangyayari andaming sinasabi ng mga tao. I can officially say that chapter of my life is over now.”

This is what actor Jake Cuenca said when he broke his silence about his relationship with Chie Filomeno. Cuenca confirmed their split and did not dive into further details about it. After this confirmation, Filomeno’s alleged romance with Matthew Lhuillier became a buzz that got louder.

Matthew is a businessman and a fourth-generation member of the wealthy and prominent M. Lhuillier family in the Philippines. Currently, he is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of ML Food Products, a subsidiary of the M. Lhuillier Group of Companies that is into dried fruits distribution, and he is also the founder of Bisaya Brew, a local craft beer brand.

In a new post, while the speculations are still lingering in the corners of social media, Filomeno shared a cryptic message, where a part of it seemed to have hinted at the reason why her previous relationship ended.

As much as we all know, her latest ex-boyfriend is Cuenca.

In her post, she shared it with Tiffany Stringer’s “The National Anthem (of Independence) featuring the line:

“Everybody wants a statement so here it is. He was a good guy, but he did some bad things. And he tried everything he could to make it up to me. I did most of my grieving while we were together and finally got the courage to leave. And of course, I wish him the best. But not more than me.”

In the caption, she wrote, “It’s a trend to use songs, since that’s what you have been doing. So might as well. It’s your sad boi era. I’m in my healing era.”

While wishing that person “all the best,” she shared that during the course of their relationship, she didn’t want to teach him how to love her, as it would have been unfair not only to her, but for both of them. She believed they deserve better.

This statement paved the way for her to share the deepest sting that came from an individual she refers to as a “so-called friend.” This friend knew what she went through in the relationship, but still chose to betray her. Filomeno talked about the betrayal of this friend.

The unnamed friend was criticized for getting involved in the issue despite claiming she did not want to be part of it, and for refusing to take “accountability” when the actress confronted her.
