PAGASA: 3 Weather Systems to Bring Heavy Rains Across PH  

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (October 11, 2025)

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring heavy rains over parts of the country.  

On Saturday (October 11, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.  

PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area was spotted 445 kilometers west of Pag-asa Island in the West Philippine Sea.

The LPA’s trough will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro.  

“So, hindi naman na ito natin inaasahan na papasok ng Philippine Area of Responsibility at posibleng malusaw na ito sa susunod na 48 oras,” PAGASA said.  

The Southwesterly Windflow will bring similar weather conditions over Palawan, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, and BARMM.

Minomonitor kasi natin yung mga temperatura particular na sa karagatan sa equatorial pacific at nakita nga natin na simula August hanggang ngayong October ay patuloy na mas malamig kesa sa normal yung temperatura ng karagatan sa Equatorial pacific at dahil doon meron na po tayong tiyatawag na La Niña condition,” PAGASA said.  

Localized thunderstorms are expected over the remaining parts of the country.  

Inaasahan kasi natin na dahil sa laniña, posibleng magkaroon na mas maraming mga nabuong bagyo hanggang sa pagtatapos ang taong ito at posibile din na mas malakas yung easterlies,” the agency explained.  

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.  

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate waters, according to PAGASA.
