The winners of the Gawad Urian 2025 have been announced. Check the list below!
GAWAD URIAN 2025 – The winners were announced at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University, and below is the list of winners.
JL Burgos’ “Alipato at Muog,” a documentary that detailed his journey searching for his brother, farmer-activist Jonas Burgos, received the “Best Film” award at the 48th Gawad Urian. It also won the “Best Documentary” and “Best Editing” categories.

“Ang journey ng pelikulang to ay katulad ng paghanap kay Jonas. years and years. Unfortunately, ang paghanap kay Jonas ay wala pa ring happy ending,” Burgos said in an interview
“Tumandok,” on the other hand, bagged the most number of awards, such as Best Supporting Actor (Felipe Ganancial), Best Direction, Best Screenplay, and Best Music. Meanwhile, GMA Pictures’ “Green Bones” won two awards: Best Actor (Dennis Trillo) and Best Production Design.
This year’s awarding was held at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University, on Saturday, October 11.
