Here are the words of Maricel Soriano for Belle Mariano.
ABS-CBN actress Belle Mariano received good words and praise from Maricel Soriano, the Diamond Star, a veteran actress.
When it comes to acting, one of those looked up by many and is multi-awarded is Maricel Soriano. She had done several iconic projects that showed her range, versatility, and talent as an actress; hence, the moniker “Diamond Star.”

In the current generation of actresses, one of the most talented and most promising is Belle Mariano, and in a movie project, she was able to score an opportunity to work with a seasoned actress.
They are working together in “Meet, Greet & Bye,” along with other prime actors, such as Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, and Juan Karlos. Belle, with the three actors, are the Facundo siblings. They are to unite to convince their mother, played by Soriano, to receive treatment after her cancer returned.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the family tension rises in the official trailer, and during a press conference, Soriano said that she never showed that she was nervous. What she saw instead was how beautiful her eyes were. To recall, Maricel expressed her affection for her co-stars, and Belle in particular, whom she fondly calls “baby girl.”
She added, “Natural siya umarte. Totoo siya umarte. Hindi siya umaarte. Totoo lahat yung pinakita niya. Genuine lahat.”
The film is gearing up to warm our hearts in cinemas this Nov. 12, 2025, and as we get closer to launching, many of us are already hooked.
In the teaser and trailer, the Facundo children have learned that their mother’s cancer has returned — and this time, it’s more aggressive. The four siblings agree that another round of chemotherapy is the most practical option. Maricel, meanwhile, finds herself wide awake, fully confronting the harsh truth of her situation. She refuses to receive treatment, something that will make a great impact not just in the story, but in the relationship of the Facundo siblings.
