Zsa Zsa Padilla extended help to earthquake victims
Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla donated food packs and monetary aid to the victims of the earthquake in Cebu.
Zsa Zsa has been in the entertainment industry for several decades already. She is known as a singer and an actress who has done various projects in her career. Many showbiz fans have seen her talent over the years.
Just recently, people in Cebu also witnessed her generosity. The singer-actress extended help to the victims of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu that took place on the night of September 30.
The official Facebook page of Cebu Province shared photos of Zsa Zsa Padilla when she visited the Capitol on October 1. She brought food packs and also gave monetary support.
“Veteran actress Zsa Zsa Padilla visited the Capitol command center this afternoon to donate ready-to-eat food packs and monetary aid for the victims of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake. The actress’s donations show solidarity with the Cebuano people during difficult times and hardships,” the caption of the post stated.
In the comment section of the post, Zsa Zsa was lauded by netizens for her effort to extend help. “What a heartwarming act of kindness! You’re truly a blessing to the people of Cebu,” netizen Ma R Ia Gomez wrote.
The Divine Diva also shared a post on her Instagram page from the Cebu Province, encouraging the public to donate to the victims of the earthquake if they can. “Please help Cebu. Let’s pray for Cebu,” the singer-actress wrote in the caption of her post.
Aside from the immediate necessities like bottled water, tents, and ready-to-eat foods, the province also needs medical volunteers.
After the earthquake, several Cebuano celebrities offered support and prayers for the victims, such as Manilyn Reynes, Ellen Adarna, Slater Young, and Janine Berdin.
