Anne Curtis talked about her recent acting series
Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis shared what she learned as Mia Hernandez in the series It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
Anne plays the lead female character in the series that tackled mental health. This was based on the South Korean sereis with the same title.
Her character falls in love with Patrick Gonzales, played by Joshua Garcia, and becomes a close friend of his older brother Matthew Gonzales, played by Carlo Aquino.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Anne Curtis was asked what she learned from her character.
“I think I learned that it’s okay to not take on everything by yourself. Because Mia was like that initially, but that is her journey,” she said.
Then, the actress shared that she learned to open up her heart to allow people to help her. At a young age, Anne said that she had learned to lead, but she now realized that it is okay to ask for help.
Anne also shared that she was able to collect a lot of core memories while filming. She revealed that she gave extra focus to her character’s outfits throughout the production.

The It’s Showtime host said that she is a fan of the original series. With this, she wanted to make sure that their adaptation would live up to the expectations of everyone, especially the fans of the original Korean drama.
She highlighted that when it came to the designs of her outfits, their priority was the localized interpretations. Previously, viewers expressed amused reactions to Anne’s pillow fight scene with Carlo.
Meanwhile, just recently, Anne Curtis did not hesitate to share her platform to condemn the corruption in the Philippines. She also joined the September 12 protest against corruption with other big names in the entertainment industry.
