Contractors Curlee, Sarah Discaya Return to DOJ amid Flood Control Issue
SARAH DISCAYA – The controversial contractor made a “finger-heart” upon her arrival at the Department of Justice.
The contractors flagged by President Bongbong Marcos amid the flood control problem in the Philippines were invited by the Senate in their investigation. Among them were the Discayas who undeniably hooked the public attention with their lavish lifestyle.

The Discayas admitted to owning 28 luxury cars which are now under the custody of the Bureau of Customs. During one of the Senate hearings, Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya and his wife, Cezarah “Sarah” Discaya presented a joint affidavit that pinned down several government officials for allegedly receiving kickback from the flood control projects.
Among the government officials that the Discayas claimed to allegedly receive kickback from flood control projects include former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Quezon City Congressman Arjo Atayde, Pasig Cong. Roman Romulo, Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co, and Marikina Cong. Marcy Teodoro.

All the congressmen tagged by the Discayas in their joint affidavit denied their claims. On the part of the controversial contractors, they claimed that they allegedly have no choice but to ride on the supposed system.

Amid the denial of the actor-turned-politician, Curlee Discaya wanted his alleged P60 million back from Q.C. Cong. Arjo Atayde. Photos of the Congressman with the contractors circulated on social media and earned him criticisms and doubts.
Currently, the flood control mess is the most pressing issue in the Philippines. The Senate continued its investigation despite the creation of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure and it holds the custody of several personalities linked to the issue. Curlee Discaya was cited for contempt during the previous Senate hearing and remains under the custody of the upper chamber.
Recently, based on a post of GMA News on social media, Curlee and Sarah Discaya returned to the Department of Justice for the case buildup amid the flood control issue. She was event spotted making a “finger-heart”.
