Curlee Discaya Wants To Take Back PHP 60M From Arjo Atayde

According to Curlee Discaya, Arjo Discaya owes him a huge amount.

Controversial contractor Curlee Discaya claimed that actor-politician Arjo Atayde owed him PHP 60 million, amid an ongoing probe.

One of the congressmen who controversial contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya mentioned during a hearing as among those who “benefited from any contractor” was Arjo Atayde, the Quezon City 1st District Representative.

Allegedly, he was among the politicians solicited money from the firm of the Discayas.

Atayde denied getting a kickback from the flood control projects, saying he never dealt with them. He firmly said, “I have never used my position for personal gain, and I never will. I will avail of all remedies under the law to clear my name and hold accountable those who spread these falsehoods.” 

In the hearing, Curlee claimed that Atayde owed him PHP 60 million, and he accordingly messaged the congressman that he wants it back to test if he’ll help him amid the probe into anomalous flood control projects. He actually messaged all the personalities who gained millions from them.

“For sample po, yung katulad kay Cong. Arjo Atayde po, bale PHP60 million po ang sinabi ko sa chat ko. Kasi PHP60 million po yung pinababalik ko sa kanyang pera po na ibinigay ko sa tatay niya,” he was referrring to Arjo’s father, Art Atayde.

Much to his disappointment, as they endured public scrutiny, none of those who had benefited from them came forward to offer help during this period. He said, “So, kung mapapansin ninyo po, kahit isang reply, nagtataguan lahat. Ni hindi nila kami binalikan.”

11. Leody “Odie” Tarriela (Occidental Mindoro Lone District)
