Janella Salvador Joins Public Outcry vs. Corruption
JANELLA SALVADOR – Actress Janella Salvador has spoken up about corruption in the country, declaring her full support for Filipinos demanding justice and accountability.
Janella Salvador has joined the growing number of Filipino celebrities raising their voices against corruption, showing solidarity with the public’s demand for accountability and genuine reform.
On Monday, Salvador released a heartfelt statement expressing her concern about the worsening state of governance in the country. She admitted that staying silent was no longer an option given the gravity of the issues Filipinos face today.

“Hindi ko masikmura na nasa presson ako ngayong araw na ‘to at hindi ako magsi-speak up about the current happenings sa country natin,” she said, emphasizing her decision to use her platform to call for change.
Although unable to attend a recent rally due to professional commitments, Salvador made it clear that she fully supports the movement. “I would like people to know na kasama niyo ako sa laban. And it’s really really time na we all join forces and let our voices be heard. At tama na ‘yung panggagago talaga sa mga… sa ‘tin, sa ‘ting mga Pilipino,” she stressed, highlighting her frustration over years of unaddressed corruption and deception.
The Kapamilya actress also criticized what she described as “band-aid solutions” offered by authorities, pointing out that such temporary measures fail to address the deeper issues of systemic corruption. She underscored that Filipinos deserve long-term, meaningful reforms that would ensure progress and protect future generations.
Salvador admitted that she feels a “heavy heart” witnessing the situation in the country, noting that the persistence of corruption has robbed many citizens of opportunities and trust in leadership.

Beyond her personal stand, she urged fellow public figures, especially influencers and celebrities, to use their platforms more responsibly in order to amplify calls for justice, fairness, and transparency. According to her, “it’s really time for us to be heard.”
Janella Salvador’s statement adds to the growing chorus of voices demanding change, reflecting the frustration of ordinary Filipinos while also inspiring others to speak out. Her words serve as both a declaration of solidarity and a reminder that the fight for accountability requires unity from all sectors of society.
