Stars Unite at EDSA: Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, & More Rage Against Corruption
VICE GANDA – During a powerful protest at the People Power Monument, Vice Ganda rallied Filipinos to reject tolerance for corruption once and for all.
Vice Ganda delivered a powerful message during the Trillion Peso March held at the People Power Monument along EDSA, where she pushed for the return of the death penalty, targeting corrupt officials allegedly involved in questionable flood control projects.
“Ibalik ang death penalty sa mga corrupt. Ikulong pati pamilya nila,” the comedian and TV host proclaimed, earning strong reactions from the gathered crowd.

The It’s Showtime mainstay argued that corruption brings more devastation than violent crimes. According to her, while killers and terrorists directly end lives, corrupt politicians strip the nation of its wealth, opportunities, and future.
“Ang corrupt na politiko ay higit pa sa mamamatay tao. Ang korapsyon ay higit sa terorismo… Ang magnanakaw walang pinipili. Kapwa Pilipino ang inaabuso,” Vice Ganda emphasized.
She further called on Filipinos to abandon complacency and actively show their anger. In her no-nonsense delivery, she pointed out that polite responses are no longer effective in confronting systemic corruption.
“Tapos na ang panahon ng mabait at resilient… ‘Di na uubra bait-baitan. Hindi ko babaitan mensahe ko — sa katunayan, mga hayop sila. Hindi natin kakalmahan dahil deserve nila ang galit, poot, at pikon,” she told the crowd, urging them to take a stronger stand.
Vice Ganda also addressed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. directly, reminding him of his responsibility as head of state and stressing that true leadership requires holding offenders accountable.
“PBBM, upang magkaroon ng magandang legasiya ipakulong mo lahat ng magnanakaw. Inaasahan ka namin. Swine-swelduhan ka namin PBBM. Kami nagpapasahod sa inyo. Tapos na panahon takot sa gobyerno. Takutin natin. Ipakulong lahat. Lahat. Bawiin mga ari-arian,” she declared.

The event also featured several well-known personalities. After the march from the EDSA Shrine, Vice Ganda shared the stage with Anne and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Darren Espanto, Donny Pangilinan, and Jackie Gonzaga, all of whom expressed support for the movement.
The protest not only showcased public outrage but also underscored the rising demand for tougher measures against corruption, with Vice Ganda’s statements igniting widespread discussion across the country.
