Alden Richards shared an important message

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards has this reminder to corrupt politicians amid the corruption issue that the public has been talking about.

In the past months, Filipinos have become more vocal about airing their dismay, thoughts, and stands regarding the corruption involving the flood control projects.

Prominent people in society started speaking and using their platforms to spread awareness, to call out, and encourage others to make a stand as well.

On September 21, rallies were held in different places in the country. Many celebrities took part in this. They marched and shouted what they were fighting for.

Even though some celebrities were not able to join the rallies, their presence was felt through their social media posts showing support for the protesters and also airing their concern regarding the present situation, just like A-list actress Angel Locsin.

Alden Richards was not able to join the rally as well, but he shared an important message. The Kapuso actor shared a Bible Verse on his Instagram Story.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” – Luke 16:10

Alden specifically addressed this to “corrupt politicians.” “Matakot kayo sa DIYOS!” he stressed. “My heart goes to every Filipino who’s against corruption kasama niyo ako sa laban na to. [Philippine flag emoji],” he added.
