Woman Claiming to be a Law Had an Exchange of Heated Argument w/ Another Group
A woman with an iPhone 16 Pro Max and car engaged in a heated argument with another group in Iloilo City.
A former Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member spoke out to clarify what really happened in the now-viral video showing two groups exchanging heated words at the ICC Grounds in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao, past midnight on Monday (September 1, 2025).
According to the former SB member, who asked to be called Arjay, he and two companions had been at Cubix earlier that night. They entered the establishment around 10 p.m. on August 31 and decided to head home shortly after 11 p.m.
The confrontation happened when they exited the venue. Arjay admitted that he and his female companion, who introduced herself as a lawyer, exchanged harsh words as they were leaving.
While their vehicle was about to exit the ICC compound, they noticed a 17-year-old girl making an obscene hand gesture toward them. This reportedly angered the driver, known as Kett, who decided to confront the girl and her brother. The verbal confrontation quickly escalated.
Arjay said he tried to calm everyone down and encouraged them to talk things through peacefully, but neither side agreed to settle the matter.
He also shared that his female companion appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, while Kett was tipsy. The woman was said to have reached her second year in law school but is currently working as a call center agent.
Unfortunately, Arjay ended up with a bump on his head after attempting to break up the scuffle.
The incident has sparked conversations online, with many netizens calling for cooler heads and better handling of conflicts, especially in public places.
