Bong Revilla Cleans Quezon City Jail Bathroom, His Friend Claims

A visitor of Bong Revilla narrated the situation inside the jail

Actor and former Senator Bong Revilla reportedly was cleaning the bathroom and other areas of the Quezon City Jail.

Revilla was detained following the arrest warrant that was released against him last January. He denied the accusation that he was involved in the anomalous flood control projects in Bulacan.

His family, supporters, and fans have been rallying behind him, clinging to their conviction that he has no involvement in the corruption issue being thrown against him.

A few days ago, a source claimed that Bong Revilla was receiving VIP (very important person) treatment inside the detention center. Allegedly, jail warden Col. Maria Lourdes Pacion was behind this. It was alleged that the actor was staying in an air-conditioned room, but his name was listed in “carpeta” or the facility’s official record, where it was stated that he was staying in a certain cell.

In a recent article published by entertainment writer Salve Asis, in Pang-Masa, she shared that their friend who visited former Sen. Bong Revilla in jail felt sorry for him.

That friend felt sorry because Revilla was in jail, but the others, being investigated for flood control anomalies, are out, and there is no remorse visible on their faces. The actor-politician is said to have lost weight and seems to have a darker skin tone now.

According to the friend, just like other inmates, Revilla is said to be cleaning the bathroom and other areas of the Quezon City Jail.

The said visitor to the former politician wondered if other politicians who are said to have embezzled even more public money are still out, why is the actor there?

Then, the entertainment writer shared the latest update on Bong Revilla’s case, which is that a panel of state prosecutors has given his lawyers until March 30 to contest the allegations of four additional respondents in the plunder cases filed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against him in connection with the anomalous flood control projects.

This comes after Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors approved the NBI’s motion to include four new respondents in Bong’s plunder case.
