Edu Manzano Shares Mocking, Trolling Posts Amid DPWH Contractor Mess

Here are the posts of Edu Manzano that earned laughs.

Actor and former politician Edu Manzano made his followers laugh through the posts he shared amid the mess and controversies of DPWH contractors.

As public outrage grows over the controversial, ineffective, and non-existent flood control projects and the personalities allegedly linked to them, several famous personalities have also taken a jab, throwing shade. Vice Ganda targeted corrupt officials in a post where she, as the top taxpayer, has to thrift his money only for these officials to steal the public’s money and live in comfort.

Gabbi Garcia opted to voice her frustration through a humorous post highlighting how she is enjoying the things she can afford through her hard work and how she paid for things with her “hard-earned money.”

President Bongbong Marcos named the top 15 contractors that hold most of these flood control projects, and they are:

  • Legacy Construction Corporation
  • Alpha & Omega General Contractor & Development Corp.
  • St. Timothy Construction Corporation
  • QM Builders
  • EGB Construction Corporation
  • Topnotch Catalyst Builders Inc.
  • Centerways Construction and Development Inc.
  • Sunwest, Inc.
  • Hi-Tone Construction & Development Corp.
  • Triple 8 Construction & Supply, Inc.
  • Royal Crown Monarch Construction & Supplies Corp.
  • Wawao Builders
  • MG Samidan Construction
  • L.R. Tiqui Builders, Inc.
  • Road Edge Trading & Development Services

Another personality to take a jab amid the mess was Edu Manzano, through his posts that mocked and trolled the contractors. He used AI-generated photos of himself, and the first post he shared was about the “Bill, Bill, Bill,” referencing to “Build, Build, Build” flagship program of the past administration of ex-president Rodrigo Duterte. He then made a shady statement after the exposés done by Senator Panfilo Lacson: “bridge to nowhere” becomes “road to forever.”

In another post, he shared a humorous point, but, at the same time, he told how much wealth contractors have been swimming in from the non-existent flood projects. He humored about the incomes that could last them their lifetimes twice over.

Another post alluded to the interview of the contractor and former Pasig mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya, where she flaunted her luxury cars. In the same interview, she shared that one of the reasons for her buying a Rolls-Royce stemmed from how amused she was by its one unique feature – an umbrella compartment.

The caption of another one said: “Saturday morning, no site visit, no stress. Just Ladurée, a Rolls-Royce payong, and taxpayer money brewed to perfection.” It came with hashtags #CroissantOverConstruction #MorningFundedByTheNation.

The recent one was an edited photo of him driving a GMC car amid the flood with Vin Diesel, stating her bidding strategy to make more money. On Saturday, several areas in Quezon City were easily flooded after two hours of heavy downpour.
