Based on the article in PEP, Claudine is the daughter of Christopher Co, the co-founder of Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corporation, which was one of the companies that were listed in the Top 15 construction companies of President Bongbong Marcos.

These companies allegedly received millions of pesos from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for infrastructure projects, including flood control. Businessman Sarah Discaya became controversial because of because her company was included on the list.

With Claudine’s family background, she received negative comments online. Some netizens took notice of her private plane, and other luxury items, as well as her frequent trips abroad. Netizens speculate that her lavish lifestyle was allegedly funded by people’s money. A netizen noticed that Claudine’s Instagram page is now deactivated.
