Singer and lifestyle vlogger Claudine Co went viral because netizens criticized her for having a lavish lifestyle.

Likes, views, shares, and subscriptions can mean a lot to vloggers or social media influencers, especially when they are just starting.
However, just recently, instead of praise or positive words, Claudine Co received bashing. It was because netizens took notice of her lavish lifestyle.
Based on the article in PEP, Claudine is the daughter of Christopher Co, the co-founder of Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corporation, which was one of the companies that were listed in the Top 15 construction companies of President Bongbong Marcos.
These companies allegedly received millions of pesos from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for infrastructure projects, including flood control. Businessman Sarah Discaya became controversial because of because her company was included on the list.
With Claudine’s family background, she received negative comments online. Some netizens took notice of her private plane, and other luxury items, as well as her frequent trips abroad. Netizens speculate that her lavish lifestyle was allegedly funded by people’s money. A netizen noticed that Claudine’s Instagram page is now deactivated.
