One of the most-followed and most successful content creators in the country is actress Ivana Alawi. With her fame as an actress as one of her advantages, her authenticity and consistency have connected deeply with millions of people.
She blends humor, relatability, and heartfelt moments smoothly in her videos, and apart from being entertaining, her viewers loved and admired how she highlights family values and shows her humble side, which makes her even more endearing.
As one of the most successful in the industry, she shared some pieces of advice. She’s been vlogging for almost six years now, and through the years, her following and reach just keep on growing.
The best advice to come from her for new content creators is: “First of all, huwag mo gawin dahil sa pera. Don’t do it for money. If you’re doing it for the money, if gusto mo kumita ng malaki, mahirap. Kasi you should do it because you love it. And you should have a purpose. Bakit? Gusto mo mang-inspire? Gusto mo mag-share ng buhay mo? So, focus on yourself and huwag mong gayahin yung ibang tao.”
She emphasized that vlogging should not be driven by the desire to earn big, but rather by purpose, love, and passion—for only then can success truly grow and last. She also admitted that there are days when she feels burned out, and during such times, she chooses to travel. For her, this serves as a reset, since nothing good ever comes out of doing something that feels forced.
As much as we all know, it was her sister Mona Alawi who encouraged her to do vlogging.
