Does Gerald Anderson have a new love life?
ABS-CBN actor Gerald Anderson has this to say when asked if there’s someone new in his life now after his split with Julia Barretto.
Apart from being a good actor, model, and businessman, ABS-CBN star Gerald Anderson is also known for his public relationships. He’s been in several relationships with famous actresses, and some of them were controversial.
In show business, his first girlfriend was Kim Chiu. They were both discovered in Pinoy Big Brother. They’ve been together for some years until their split in 2010. He also had a relationship with Maja Salvador, a relationship that ruined Maja’s friendship with Kim. They admitted their relationship in 2013 and announced their split in 2015.
Bea Alonzo also became his girlfriend, with whom he had the most controversial and highly publicized split. There were third-party rumors, and the actress blamed for their split was his former leading lady in a movie, Julia Barretto, who, later on, also became his girlfriend.
While many thought that Barretto was going to be his endgame, they were wrong. In September 2025, Gerald and Julia confirmed their split, but did not provide the real reason behind it.
Recently, in an interview, Anderson was asked about this aspect in his life as he moves forward after the split with Barretto. According to him, 2026 is going to be a busy year for him, which means he has no time for this.
He is also not in search for it, as he believes that it will come to him unexpectedly. He stressed that love just comes when you least expect it, and for next year, his focus would be on building his personal life and professional career.
“Kapag naghahanap ka ng love life, hindi darating yan. Darating lang yan unexpectedly. So, right now, I’m just focused sa work. Nakikita niyo naman eh. Iba yung drive ko ngayon,” he said based on the interview.
