Flood

Recently, the wrath of the Southwest Monsoon and tropical storms Crising, Dante, and Emong have left many areas in the Philippines flooded. During the Marcos SONA 2025, the President admitted the failure in the flood control projects in the country which allegedly resulted to the flooding.

Marcos Jr. claimed he really went to see the flood control projects himself. It can be recalled that in 2024, the President expressed his desire for a flood control masterplan for the country. It came after Super Typhoon Carina left several areas across the nation devastated.
