Jessy Mendiola recalled having this argument with Luis Manzano
Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola shared the big argument she had with her husband, TV host Luis Manzano, regarding politics.
Jessy is a very supportive wife to Luis. When the TV host decided to enter politics, his wife joined him during the filing of the certificate of candidacy until the campaign period. Luis ran for vice governor as the running mate of his mom, Star for All Seasons, Vilma Santos.
Ate Vi won, but unfortunately, Luis did not. His half-brother, Ryan Recto, who ran for representative, also won. Amid his election loss, Jessy continued to show support for him.
In a recent interview on Bianca Gonzalez’s show, The B Side, based on the article in ABS-CBN, Jessy Mendional was asked about the worst fight she had with Luis Manzano. The actress said that it was not really a fight but an argument, and it had something to do with his decision to enter politics.
âSa pagtakbo niya. Actually, hindi naman talaga kami nag aaway, but it was more of an argument. I didnât want him to run and he wanted to,â Jessy said.
They were making a decision regarding this, and Jessy felt that she was scared and the emotions were high.
At that time, Luis was stressing that they should come up with a decision together. “So kahit si Luis nun, bakit ka nagagalit nag uusap lang naman? Kaya nga tayo nag dedecision magkasama kasi I really value your opinion and I want to decide with you,â the actress shared.
Luis explained to Jessy why he decided to be in public service, and the actress realized her husband’s decision. From that, the actress supported her husband all the way.
Jessy Mendiola explained that she felt like she and Luis Manzano had already created a peaceful life, and suddenly they would enter a new world that could be difficult. The TV host explained to his wife why he wanted to be a public servant, and they came up with a unified decision. Even though Luis did not win, Jessy was still proud of him.
