Jessy Mendiola is supportive of her husband’s new endeavor
Actress Jessy Mendiola shared her thoughts on the political stint of her husband Kapamilya host Luis Manzano.
In recent years, Jessy focused on her family. She fulfilled her duty as a wife to Luis and a mother to their daughter Rosie. This year, the actress is ready to return to acting.
The last acting project she did was in 2019 for the series Sandugo. In the middle of this year, Jessy shared that they will start shooting for the series Nobody, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
However, before officially returning to acting, Jessy Mendiola will first focus on supporting Luis Manzano’s political stint. She shared that they are both nervous and excited because this is new for them.
Luis decided to run for vice governor in Batangas with his mother Star for All Season Vilma Santos as his running mate.
“Of course, this is a new world for Luis and I. I know how hard it is. I know how challenging it is. He’s a celebrity. But he’s very generous, very smart. He’s willing to give his heart to everyone. I hope he’ll be given a chance to serve,” Jessy said.
She also said that she knows that her husband has the potential to be in public service. Jessy revealed that people have been convincing Luis to run and this is just the time he said yes.
Meanwhile, Jessy Mendiola recently signed a contract with Manila Diamond Studio. She shared that she loves jewelry more than bags and shoes. The actress also invests in jewelry. Jessy shared that she is particularly indulgent in earrings.
When asked about her recent purchase, the actress chose not to reveal the amount of the item she bought. She said that it was a dream come true for her since she started working in showbiz and she saved money for this item.
