Zambales Rep. Speaks on Claim of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte over Pres. Marcos, ICC
JAY KHONGHUN – The Zambales 1st District Representative belied the claim of Vice President Sara Duterte over the alleged collusion between Pres. Bongbong Marcos and the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte remains under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands for more than four (4) months now. His family and his supporters continue the call for his return to the Philippines.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is now “skin and bones” inside the ICC detention facility as per his ex-wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, and their children — Davao Congressman Paolo Duterte and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to VP Sara, her father lost his appetite which resulted to massive weight loss.
Meanwhile, the Vice President claimed that she prefers the slim physique of former Pres. Duterte. According to her, her father’s previous physique with a huge belly seemingly looked unhealthy for his heart.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is currently in The Hague, Netherlands. She also spoke at the Free Duterte Now rally prepared by the die-hard Duterte supporters abroad.
At the rally, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte expressed her claim that Pres. Bongbong Marcos and the ICC allegedly used each other over the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. She claimed that the Marcos administration wants to get rid of the former President who is a “foremost staunch critic” of the admin prior to his arrest.
Recently, a member of the House of Representatives reacted to the claim of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and defended Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, Zambales 1st district Rep. Jay Khonghun claimed that there was no collusion between Marcos Jr. and the ICC.
“Walang kuntsabahan. Walang pakikialam. At lalong walang script na siya ang nagpahuli sa dating Pangulo,” he said.
Zambales Rep. Jay Khonghun also stressed that the kindness of Pres. Bongbong Marcos is genuine and he leads with “calm, principle and respect for the rule of law”. He stressed that the Chief Executive is not like the other leaders who have to shout, intimidate, and lie just to hook the people’s attention.
“Hindi lahat ng galaw ng gobyerno ay kontrolado ng Pangulo. We are no longer under a regime where one man can order arrests left and right. President Marcos governs with restraint and humility,” the Zambales solon added.
According to Zambales Rep. Jay Khonghun, while the allegations of deaths are called “gossip” by some people, they call it “justice”. Based on the report, he stressed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte should face the accusations if he truly did not make any mistake.
