Carla Abellana raised their concern regarding tax assessment
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana once again used her social media platform to raise an issue that concerns a lot of Filipinos.
To recall, Carla went viral last month because of her social media post calling out PrimeWater’s service. There had been many posts online regarding the same complaint that Carla had. That was the reason why she received support from other consumers as well.
With that, PrimeWater released a statement answering Carla’s complaint. The company owned by the Villars stated that it has addressed the issue and has already talked to Carla’s caretaker. She responded to the statement and asked, “What caretaker?”
A few days after that, Carla Abellana called out the internet provider company Converge. She revealed that at that time, they had a poor WiFi connection for a week.
The Kapuso actress also shared her thoughts on a popular political issue, the Pork Barrel of congressmen and senators. She shared a post about this and reminded the politicians that it is the people’s money.
In a recent Instagram Stories that she shared, Carla once again made an exposé. She shared screenshots of her conversation with an unnamed person, and this was about tax assessment.
Based on their conversation, the person was telling her about the tax assessment process. It was said that people in this government department can lessen the value of Carla’s property and put it in documents, but she should give them 60 percent of what she saved.
The reply she had was, “Corruption. So in conclusion?” Carla’s caption in this was, “Welcome to the Philippines where corruption is top tier.”
Her next IG Story shared more of their conversation. A breakdown of her payment was shown. The person Carla was talking to also revealed that he or she is dealing with this all the time, and the worst is in Makati.
With this, Carla Abellana asked, “What do I do with a predicament like this when corruption is being done right smack on your face?“
