Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza has this clarification about the dating speculations involving actor Jameson Blake.
In several running events, celebrities Barbie Forteza and Jameson Blake were spotted together, and close and intimate gestures together have sparked dating rumors. In the recent fun run event, Forteza and Blake were spotted holding hands, which fueled the rumors.
Based on a previous article, Jameson spoke about the viral holding hands photos, and according to him, the act has no meaning at all, as he was just there to protect her from the swarm of people who wanted to take a photo with her.
“The reason why nahuli kami holding hands kasi andami nung taong nagpa-picture sa kanya. I was just assisting her palabas. Gets ko naman people will think different,” he told Ogie Diaz.
In a recent interview, the actress finally spoke and set the record straight. According to her, they have worked together on a film, and that there’s nothing romantic going on between them.
They got closer to each other when they worked on the film Kontrabida Academy.
She said, “Ito namang recent run namin, siya [Jameson] naman yung nag-invite. Just like how other my runner friends invite me to run, yun lang yon. Yun lang talaga yon,” and stressed, “We are not together.”
Jameson also clarified before that they are not together. He knew people would think differently because of the holding hands photo, but he firmly made it clear that he was just assisting her and served as the crowd control during that running event.
They are both starring in the upcoming Netflix movie “Kontrabida Academy” with Eugene Domingo, Michael De Mesa, Ysabel Ortega, Xyriel Manabat, and Carmina Villaroel.
