Recently, Malacañang echoed the previous call of Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero to the senators to refrain from speaking their stand on the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Palace press undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro stressed that some remarks show where the senator judges are leaning towards.

Based on a report on PhilStar, the Malacañang official stressed that the statement of the senators on the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is allegedly a “witch hunt” citing that the trial has yet to start.

“Ni hindi pa nga po nakapag-start ng trial. So, parang isang judge na nagsabing hindi na siya guilty habang hindi pa dinidinig ang anumang ebidensiya,” Castro said.
Based on the report, Malacañang is also not in favor of the call for biased senator judges in the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte to inhibit. According to the Palace official, the senator judges would just have to show the people how they move for the Filipino populace.
“Hindi dapat mag-inhibit, pakita na lang nila sa tao kung paano sila kumilos at gumalaw para sa taumbayan,” she expressed.
Malacañang has repeatedly stressed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos will not intervene in the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte but wants the process to push through.
