In a post, Maine Mendoza marked her 10th year in show business.
Kapuso actress-host Maine Mendoza is celebrating her 10 years in the entertainment industry, and here’s what she thinks about this.
Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza is proof that there’s a right timing for everything. Her shot to fame at age 20 after unexpected twists and turns showed how time can be compressed for someone who is already at the right time and at the right place.
She hails from Santa Maria, Bulacan. Her mother, Mary Ann, is an accountant, while her father is an engineer who owns a construction firm. Their family owns several gas stations. She graduated Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management, specializing in Culinary Arts at the College of St. Benilde in Manila, but deviated from this path and became a celebrity.
Maine was the only one who made it huge without a voice. She wasn’t dubbed the Dubsmash Queen for nothing. Maine and Alden Richards both made it big with their voiceless interactions, and just a screen between them. Until the “Tamang Panahon” happened, which filled the Philippine Arena.
Everything happened fast and big, and recently, she marked her 10th year in the show business industry. In an Instagram post, she shared her 2015 and 2025 photos to point out differences from her status in the industry to how far her life has changed from before.
All these big changes were because of Eat Bulaga.
“A decade already? Just wow. Truly grateful for the journey and the people I’ve shared it with. 🤍 Having Eat Bulaga as my home all these years has been such a blessing. Maraming salamat sa sampung taon, dabarkads,” she wrote.
She feels grateful for the journey. Following their AlDub stint, she became one of the regular hosts of the noontime show.
