Fuel Companies to Impose Oil Price Hike This Week
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Various fuel companies in the country are expected to implement oil price hike starting this week.
Filipino motorists will have to prepare for another round of increases in fuel prices as oil companies announced that gasoline and diesel will both rise by P1.20 per liter on Tuesday (November 18, 2025).
The looming fuel price hike marks the seventh straight increase for gasoline and the fourth for diesel.

Most fuel retailers, including Shell, Seaoil, and Petro Gazz, will implement the changes at 6 a.m. Cleanfuel, meanwhile, will apply the adjustment later in the day at 4:01 p.m. Kerosene prices will stay the same due to a nationwide freeze still in effect after the state of national calamity was declared.
The tensions involving Russia and Ukraine continue to influence world supply, especially with fresh sanctions from the United States and disruptions in Russian oil facilities are sone of the reason in unstable fuel prices.
Some oil refineries are also undergoing maintenance and temporary shutdowns, which limit production and tighten supply. In Asia, fuel inventories, particularly diesel and kerosene, have been falling, adding more pressure on prices.

These adjustments followed last week’s increase, when gasoline went up by 50 centavos per liter and diesel by one peso. Data from the Department of Energy shows that, as of late October, gasoline prices had already climbed by P16.50 per liter for the year, diesel by P19.15, and kerosene by P6.55.
For now, commuters and drivers will need to adjust once more as fuel costs continue to rise. The series of price hikes serves as a reminder of how global events can quickly affect everyday expenses, especially those who rely on their vehicles for work and daily routines.
