Is it true that Michelle Dee will join another national pageant?
Rumor has it that Kapuso beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee was expected to join Miss Grand Philippines 2025.
Michelle was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019. Her pageant journey did not end there. In 2022, she joined another national pageant, the Miss Universe Philippines, and she won the MUPH Tourism title.
A year later, she once again joined MUPH and became the Philippines’ representative to the international pageant, and she was included in the TOP 10.
Just recently, the official candidates of Miss Grand Philippines 2025 were introduced. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Michelle Dee was supposed to be one of them.
It was said that Miss Grand Philippines national director Arnold Vegafria had a conversation with Michelle, who was apparently ready to join the pageant. Reportedly, Arnold gave Michelle the nudge to join, and the latter showed interest.
It was also said that MGI president Nawat Itsaragrisil has his eyes on Michelle because he likes her business value and social media following. However, Michelle was not among the official candidates presented to the press.
According to sources, Michelle was informed that the press presentation would be on July 2 and not July 1. The Kapuso star’s schedule was full on July 1. She had a commercial shoot. However, the team of Arnold reportedly waited for Michelle until midnight, but she did not come.
After this, it was speculated that Michelle Dee’s Instagram Story on July 1 had something to do with what happened. “Time and destiny didn’t align for me today… but I believe one day, it will. #TrustTheProcess.” she wrote in her post.
Meanwhile, Michelle is currently part of the Kapuso primetime fantasy series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre. She portrays the character of Hara Cassandra.
