This is what DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said about rumors involving Gretchen Barretto.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has this to say about the rumors linking Gretchen Barretto to the missing sabungeros case.
Justice for the missing ‘sabungeros’ has been the cry of many people for years now. The cockfighting enthusiasts who went missing four years ago have still not been found, and recently, a whistleblower stepped forward and revealed that the 34 missing people were buried down to the floors of the Taal Lake.

Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla said that technical divers are eyed to look for them. This mission to find human remains won’t be easy, but they have to for justice.
In the recent detail that the whistleblower claimed in his affidavit, a female celebrity was among the ‘alpha’ members in the case. He is yet to submit the affidavit to the authorities.
“May isang babaeng celebrity, ‘di ko naman pangalanan at alam na nila ‘yan. Kasama siya sa alpha member. Ibig sabihin kasama siya sa grupo,” Alyas Totoy said, also one of the accused in the case.
Recently, the DOJ secretary was made to speak about the matter; however, he refused to make any comments. He expressed, “I cannot comment on that yet kasi we have to validate a lot of data.”

The actress being linked to the case is Gretchen Barretto. She was known to be fond of cockfighting, but she is not the only one who was dragged into the case. He said, “Ah, more than that, marami pa. There are others… basta there are others.”
The missing sabungeros disappeared mysteriously. They were reportedly kidnapped and were never to be seen again. In just nine months, from April 2021 to January 2022, 34 cockfight enthusiasts went missing, and the authorities are yet to find them.
