EMBARRASSING MOMENT – A lady passenger accidentally gave a goodbye kiss to a Grab driver after mistaking him for her dad.
Recently, dationinpayment, a Reddit user, shared an embarrassing moment online after accidentally giving a goodbye kiss on the cheek to her Grab driver, thinking he was her dad. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The incident happened on a Monday morning, just before she entered her office. According to her post, the woman usually gets a ride from her father every Monday. It had become their routine since she wears a Filipiniana dress to work every first day of the week.
Before heading into the office, she would always give her dad a cheek-to-cheek beso as a sweet gesture of goodbye.
However, that Monday was different. Her father couldn’t drive her to work because he had to pick up her sister at the airport. So she booked a Grab ride instead, thinking it would be just a normal commute.
The moment she reached her destination, she went back to her usual habit without thinking. Out of muscle memory, she leaned in and gave the Grab driver a quick beso, only to realize too late that it wasn’t her father behind the wheel.
The lady passenger immediately apologized to the surprised driver, explaining that it was completely unintentional. She shared the story online with a mix of embarrassment and laughter, saying it was all because she was probably too sleepy to think straight.

“Lunes na lunes, napahiya ako malala!!!
Every Monday, nakagawian ko na magpahatid kay Papa ko from bahay to work kasi naka-Filipiniana attire every monday.
Bago ako bumaba sa car, nagbebeso ako goodbye kay Papa before pumasok sa office.
Kaso ngayon, hindi makahatid si Papa dahil nagsundo kay Ate ko sa airport. So, nag-Grab na lang ako. No problem about that.
At sa hindi ko maipaliwanag na pangyayari, nagbeso ako sa driver ng Graaaab!!! Todo sorry ako kay kuya driver sabi ko hindi ko sinasadya and everything. Siguro muscle memory ko na every Monday pero sheeeeet LUNES NA LUNESSSS! Hahahaha.
