In an interview, Derek Ramsay mentioned his ex-girlfriend, Angelica Panganiban, when asked about his early days in show business.
Celebrities Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban were a couple for six years. While everyone thought they were going to last, they broke up. They started dating in 2006 and broke up in 2012.
He was with her when he started his acting career, and in a recent interview, he admitted how big her help was to him when it comes to their craft. He had an interview with Cinema One’s The B Side hosted by Bianca Gonzalez, and he mentioned his ex-girlfriend when they recalled him being part of the hit series “Maging Sino Ka Man” when he was just starting out.
According to him, there had been a lot of pressure on his part as someone who was just starting out working with John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Sam Milby, and Anne Curtis. They are the lead stars of the series, and at that time, they were already some of the big stars of the industry.
“It’s so much hard to do, ‘yung sequel, right? The pressure was pretty intense. But at the time, Angelica [Panganiban] was my girlfriend and she’s a talented actress, so she was able to help me,” Ramsay said in the video.
Panganiban is among the well-loved, award-winning actresses of the industry. She is now married to businessman, Gregg Homan, while Ramsay is also now married to actress Ellen Adarna.
