Young Woman Slams Broken Road in Caloocan After 7 Months of No Progress
A young woman is wondering why a broken road in Caloocan is still unfinished seven months after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend.
Recently, Zaira Villalobos a Facebook user, expressed her confusion over an unfinished road in front of a mall in Sangandaan, Caloocan City. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
On Saturday night (June 14, 2025), the lady netizen shared a photo of the damaged road and wondered why it’s still not fixed, especially since it has been seven months since she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, and yet the road remains untouched.

Villalobos clarified that she wasn’t really complaining but just wondering why it’s taking so long to repair the road. She also pointed out that the delay is causing inconvenience to daily commuters.
“Hindi naman nagrereklamo, nagtataka lang kasi ang tagal na talaga no’n do’n,” aniya. Masyado na abala sa commuters. Tapos ngayon magpapasukan ulit ng school,” she said.
With classes starting on Monday, June 16, she said the unfinished road could be a bigger problem for students and parents.

According to her, the road has been in poor condition for months, and nothing seems to have changed. The area remains blocked, uneven, and difficult to pass through, especially for people on foot and public transportation users.
As of this writing, the local government of Caloocan City has not released any statement or response regarding the matter. Many residents are hoping that the roadwork will be prioritized soon, especially since the new school year is about to begin.
